[Remote] SEO Director - Startups, AI-Native (Claude), Programmatic SEO
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Chameleon Collective is a company in the mental health space seeking a Senior Growth Lead to drive their growth function. This senior, hands-on role focuses on executing growth strategies through data analysis and programmatic SEO, while collaborating directly with leadership to achieve meaningful business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Own growth projects end-to-end — discovery, strategy, execution, measurement, and iteration
- Serve as the primary strategic partner to leadership, presenting insights and growth opportunities with confidence
- Lead high-impact technical and programmatic SEO initiatives — URL migrations, taxonomy rebuilds, canonical and indexation changes at scale
- Build programmatic content features (self-discovery tools, screeners, quizzes) that drive acquisition
- Translate SEO, product, and performance data into clear, actionable insights
- Use Claude and build agentic workflows to improve execution velocity and scale your impact
- Build forecasts, set targets, and deliver clear, data-driven reporting on a regular cadence
Skills
- 6+ years in SEO, growth, or performance marketing; in-house or startup experience strongly preferred
- Has originated and driven at least one major growth initiative end-to-end to a measurable business outcome (revenue, pipeline, or traffic at scale) — not just executed tasks like crawl fixes or predefined keyword plans
- Demonstrated programmatic SEO wins at scale — migrations, taxonomy work, template-level canonical/noindex changes, traffic lift from technical execution
- AI-native with Claude integrated into daily work — has built automated processes, pipelines, or agentic workflows (not occasional prompting)
- Strong ownership mentality — operates autonomously, consistent and reliable in execution
- Comfortable working directly with founders, CEOs, and senior leadership
- Remote-ready with meaningful overlap with the Pacific Time Zone
