[Remote] Security Engineer

As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for building and scaling the security posture of their SaaS platform and internal systems, focusing on automation and proactive security measures.

Responsibilities

  • Take complete ownership of engineering proactive guardrails, automating incident response workflows, and securing emerging technologies like AI and machine learning
  • Design and maintain automated response playbooks using orchestration workflows to heavily reduce manual intervention
  • Pioneer agentic security engineering efforts by developing custom SecOps applications and autonomous workflows that seamlessly triage alerts and accelerate defense capabilities
  • Own cloud infrastructure security by implementing 'Infrastructure as Code' (Terraform) across multi-cloud footprint (AWS/GCP)
  • Establish robust security guardrails for AI platforms and developer tools to mitigate risks like prompt injection and data leakage

Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in a Security Engineering, DevSecOps, or high-level SecOps role
  • Proven ability in Python, Go, or low-code orchestration platforms
  • Hands-on proficiency securing AWS or GCP services (IAM, WAF/ALB, Fargate/Lambda)
  • Deep experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation/Pulumi) within a Git-based CI/CD workflow
  • Practical experience using agentic AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate code development and security auditing
  • Experience securing 'Agentic' developer tools and AI coding assistants
  • Practical understanding of governing model traffic via AI Gateways and the Model Context Protocol (MCP)
  • Familiarity with container security, zero-trust networking (Zscaler), EDR (Crowdstrike/SentinelOne), and managing endpoint security profiles (MDM/JAMF)
