They are seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to build and maintain data platform components in Java, design data processing pipelines, and ensure platform reliability across distributed data infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data platform components in Java that support large-scale distributed Spark workloads
- Design and optimize data processing pipelines running in Kubernetes-native cloud environments
- Work on platform reliability, observability, and performance across distributed data infrastructure
- Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues in data platform components
- Collaborate with data engineering and platform teams to deliver high-quality platform features
- Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and platform engineering standards
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in IT roles
- 3+ years of experience with Java as a primary language in data platform or distributed systems contexts
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark or similar distributed data processing frameworks
- Solid foundation in distributed systems design and operation
- Experience working in Kubernetes or containerized cloud deployments
- Advanced proficiency in English
