[Remote] Manager, Doctor Recruiting
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. HighFive Healthcare is a multi-state specialty dental organization supporting oral & maxillofacial surgery and endodontic practices across 15+ states. The Manager, Doctor Recruiting is responsible for owning the experienced-doctor recruiting channel, managing a pipeline of candidates, and conducting career and financial conversations with practicing surgeons.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a pipeline of practicing OMFS and Endodontic doctors who are candidates for associate positions
- Develop outreach strategy and relationship cadence for experienced-doctor prospects, including solo practitioners and doctors considering a career transition
- Conduct substantive career and financial conversations — practice economics, the H5 compensation model, associate opportunity scope, and long-term trajectory
- Manage candidates from first outreach through signed employment agreement
- Design and lead practice-visit experiences for experienced-doctor candidates — coordinating clinical leaders, tours, market context, and financial conversations
- Own the compensation conversation using the H5 comp framework and market brief to present a specific, data-backed offer narrative
- Prepare term sheets and manage the executive approval workflow for experienced-doctor candidates
- Activate the Clinical Ambassador network for experienced-doctor relationships
- Keep candidate and pipeline records current in Salesforce so status and reporting stay accurate — day-to-day CRM upkeep, logistics, briefs, assessment scheduling, and reporting are handled by the Practice Support team
- Direct Practice Support on what each active pursuit needs — market briefs, visit logistics, ambassador coordination, and term-sheet routing — and keep those requests moving
- Partner with the Director and clinical leaders to maintain a healthy experienced-doctor pipeline across priority markets
- Maintain and develop relationships with practices that may become M&A candidates when activity resumes; document in Salesforce; partner with the CGO on relationship strategy
Skills
- 3+ years of physician, dental, or specialty healthcare recruiting or business development experience
- Demonstrated ability to have peer-level financial and career conversations with practicing professionals
- Strong business acumen — comfortable with practice economics, compensation structures, and partnership models
- A track record of closing — moving relationships to signed commitments, ideally with experienced professionals
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and relationship-management skills
- Organized and disciplined with pipeline tracking and CRM hygiene (Salesforce)
- DSO business development, M&A, or practice-partnership experience; familiarity with dental specialty or oral surgery practice economics
- Experience recruiting or developing relationships with practicing physicians or dentists; background in financial services, healthcare consulting, or professional-services sales
- CRM/Salesforce and Smartsheet proficiency
