We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our tech group, you'll play a critical role in designing, building, and deploying cutting-edge web and cloud applications that make a real difference in people's lives. You'll work closely with our skilled designers and engineers in an open, collaborative environment where your voice is valued, and you have the freedom to choose the technologies that best suit the task at hand.Key Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Software Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:- Designing and building high-performance, scalable web and cloud applications using a range of technologies, including Java, Scala, and NoSQL databases.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and to develop and implement solutions that meet those needs.
- Working with designers and engineers to design and implement user interfaces, APIs, and other system components.
- Building and testing prototypes to validate new ideas and technologies.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and applying that knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our products and services.
- Participating in code reviews, pair programming, and other collaborative activities to ensure high-quality code and best practices.
- Communicating technical ideas and solutions to non-technical stakeholders, including senior management and customers.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and cloud applications.
- Proficiency in Java, Scala, or other programming languages, and experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Elasticsearch, and Flash.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:- Experience with cloud platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Knowledge of continuous integration, continuous deployment, and DevOps frameworks.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of security principles and practices, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
- Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
