Join a new daily news podcast focused on British Columbia politics as a music composer responsible for crafting the signature audio identity. The project requires the creation of a short, memorable intro and extro theme that will set the tone for the show. The intro should be under 10-15 seconds, featuring a looping segment suitable for voiceover during the introduction, with a smooth fade-out. The extro should also be 10-15 seconds, complementing the overall podcast theme. The desired style is modern, engaging, and similar in feel to the New York Times' 'The Daily.' This is a fully remote, project-based opportunity for a personal journalism initiative. Deliverables
- Compose a 10-15 second podcast intro theme with a looping section for voiceover and a clean fade-out.
- Create a 10-15 second extro theme that complements the intro and overall podcast branding.
- Deliver high-quality audio files in industry-standard formats (WAV, MP3).
- Provide all necessary stems and project files for future edits or adjustments.
- Ensure the music is original, royalty-free, and tailored to the podcast’s journalistic tone.
Requirements
- Proven experience composing music for podcasts, radio, or similar audio media.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to create concise, memorable audio branding.
