Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our Technology Services Group (TSG) team. As a key member of our team, you'll provide daily technical support for network infrastructure and desktop systems, including hardware and software troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades. Your expertise will help ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems, enabling our employees to focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide daily technical support for network infrastructure and desktop systems, including hardware and software troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
  • Conduct site visits to investigate issues and perform on-site repairs or upgrades as needed
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, troubleshooting procedures, and knowledge base articles
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for critical issues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure our IT systems remain secure, efficient, and effective

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • 2+ years of experience in IT support, with a focus on network infrastructure and desktop systems
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems, including client-server architecture
  • Experience with Cisco VPN, Citrix, Phantom, Symantec, and other related technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional support experiences

Preferred Qualifications:

* CompTIA A+, Network+, or other relevant certifications

  • Experience with Linux, Unix, or other operating systems
  • Familiarity with cloud-based services, such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services
  • Strong scripting and programming skills, with experience in languages like PowerShell or Python
  • Experience with IT service management tools, such as ServiceNow or BMC Helix
