This is a full-time telecommuting position that offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care outcomes while working from the comfort of your home office. As the Associate Manager, Clinical Health Services, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of healthcare management services for your assigned functional area. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our members receive the highest quality of care while navigating their health journey across the continuum of care services. --- ## Key Responsibilities ### Clinical Leadership and Implementation - Execute clinical policies and procedures in strict accordance with relevant regulatory and accreditation standards, including NCQA, URAC, state and federal guidelines as appropriate - Serve as a subject matter expert and coach to your team regarding practice guidelines, quality interventions, problem resolution, and critical thinking - Ensure implementation and monitoring of best practice approaches and innovations to better address member needs across the healthcare continuum - Develop, initiate, evaluate, screen, and communicate performance expectations for your team ### Care Management Excellence - Oversee resources responsible for identification of members, development and execution of care plans, enhancement of clinical appropriateness and quality of care, and monitoring, evaluating, and recording of care outcomes - Analyze and interpret data to identify areas for improvement and focus on interventions to improve member outcomes - Create and maintain an environment that promotes teamwork, cross-product integration, and continuum of care collaboration resulting in strong performance - Establish a positive work environment by recognizing team contributions, soliciting input, and offering individual support ### Compliance and Quality Assurance - Maintain compliance with all policies and procedures, implementing them at the team member level - Protect member information privacy and adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality - Ensure team's understanding and utilization of information system capabilities and functionalities - Collaborate effectively with providers, members, staff, and other leaders ### Team Development and Collaboration - Participate in the recruitment and hiring process using clearly defined requirements regarding education, experience, technical and performance abilities - Assess developmental needs and collaborate with others to identify and implement action plans that support the development of high-performing teams - May act as a liaison with other key business areas - May develop/aid in the creation of new training content - May collaborate/deliver inter and intra-departmental training sessions ### Communication and Stakeholder Engagement - Communicate effectively with Providers, Members, Staff, and various Leaders - Provide support to sales staff and organization staff through on-site client visits and presentations when required - Consistently demonstrate the ability to act as a change agent and lead change initiatives --- ## Required Qualifications ### Education and Credentials - Bachelor's degree in a relevant healthcare, public health, or human services field required - Active and unrestricted RN (Registered Nurse) licensure in state of residence required - LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) licensure will also be considered ### Professional Experience - Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical healthcare practice - Demonstrated experience in healthcare management, care coordination, or clinical case management - Strong understanding of managed care principles and healthcare delivery systems - Experience with quality improvement initiatives and clinical program development ### Technical Competencies - Proficiency in using technology and digital collaboration tools - Comfortable working in a remote/virtual environment - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret clinical data and metrics - Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities --- ## Preferred Qualifications - Managed care industry experience - Advanced degree in social work, nursing, public health, or healthcare administration - Experience working from home or in virtual team settings - Familiarity with NCQA and URAC accreditation standards - Bilingual capabilities (Spanish, Mandarin, Vietnamese, or other languages) - Experience in training and development of clinical staff --- ## Career Growth Opportunities At arenaflex, we believe in investing in our people and supporting their professional development.
